The story behind Frying with Finch started over 40 years ago in a small, family-owned restaurant in Hawarden, lowa, known as Avalunch. They quickly became well known for their broasted chicken, the secret ingredient being the breading. The restaurant was sold in 2005; however, the family maintained the secret recipe.
Over the years our family and friends have enjoyed numerous meals containing this universal breading. Our hope is that your family enjoys this best-kept secret recipe as much as we do! Here is from our family to yours!
